Here at the Thadeushof we like to share our passion for good food with our guests. Our kitchen, inspired by regional and seasonal ingredients, many of them self-grown or self-manufactured, promises an authentic Carinthian flavour experience. As a restaurant with tradition, which is run by our family since generations, we have made it our mission to start the day with a meal which is as unforgettable as the environment around us.
Our restaurant with 100 cosy seats, divided into two main halls, offers the perfect setting for every occasion – from birthday parties to major anniversaries. In the summer we invite you to our fresh made dishes on our nice-looking terrace, surrounded from blooming roses and a breathtaking view of the Karawanken mountains. It’s this mixture of genuine hospitality and culinary heritage that makes every visit to us a special experience.

Start your day with our rich breakfast between 08:00 and 10:00. Enjoy the scent from freshly ground coffee and fresh bread, combined with a range of homemade marmalades, seasonal fruits, dairy products, cereals, and savoury options such as eggs from happy hens, cold meats, and cheeses and home cured bacon and ham.

A dinner that stays in your mind
As part of the half board, between 18:30 and 20:30 we are offering you a multi course dinner, beginning with an appetiser, followed by fresh salads, delicious soups, a selection of main dishes and sweet desserts. Let us treat you with our Carinthian kitchen, Austrian classics and fresh fish specialties all from our region.
Open for you all year round
The Thadeushof Restaurant is open for you all year round from 8:00 to 22:00, with a kitchen that conjures up tempting dishes daily from 11:30 to 14:00 and from 17:30 to 21:00. We take a break on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Whether you come to us as a holiday guest, business traveller or just passing through, you can look forward to cosy double rooms and flats that will make your stay in Carinthia unforgettable.
